"I have for a number of years had a problem with water leaking into my house at the join between it and the flat roof area covering my porch.

It has been a real problem and one has driven my wife mad. We have had a number of builders look at the problem but none of them were able to solve it.

I asked Tony Rickards of A R Builders to look at the problem. He came to the house and quoted to re-surface the flat roof and he was able to start work straight away.

He and his men were very polite, tidy workers. He finished the work without any delay and did not charge any more than his original quote.

We are delighted with the job but the acid test was the first heavy rain storm. When it came my wife was ready with the usual bowl and pots and pans to catch the water but we needn't have worried. My wife said she could have kissed Tony when we found that he had actually solved this longstanding problem.

Always turned up on time and as arranged, So plesant & friendly, We went out several times I left them to get on. Quality of work so important to Tony, he checked at all stages and redid a couple of things we haden't noticed, but he had. So tactful with his advice with a couple of deviations from plans and it looked so much better when we took his advise thank you.

Took a huge amount of trouble to customise a cheap B&Q kitchen unit into a vanity unit which could have cost 5 times more.

We would certainly use him again and have already recommened him to family.

Despite it being a messy job, Tony ensured we were never without power or water.
